9. oktobra 1991. godine prvi put smo izašle na ulice Beograda – tada smo započele nenasilni otpor ratu i politici srpskog režima. Do sada smo organizovale oko 2 500 akcija na ulici. I dalje smo na ulicama...
Žene u crnom/ŽUC su aktivistička grupa i mreža feminističko-antimilitarističke orijentacije, koju čine žene, ali i muškarci različite generacijske i etničke pripadnosti, obrazovnog nivoa, socijalnog statusa, životnih stilova i seksualnih izbora.

Decisively AGAINST Fascism – Antifascism is My Choice

Note

For the International Day Against Fascism and Anti-Semitism, Women in Black organized a peaceful action with the Antifa choir Our Song (Naša Pesma).
The action took place next to the Monument for Hanged Antifascists1, on Terazije Street.

The following signs were held by action participants:

- Antifascism is my choice
- Women in Black against fascism
- No pasaran – Women in Black against fascism
- November 9th – International Day Against Fascism
- Women in Black against fascism and anti-Semitism
- Together against fascism
- One race – human race
- Resistance: Who, if not us? When, if not now? Where, if not here?
- Action, resistance, solidarity, courage
- A photograph of the hanging of an antifascist (which was wrapped around a monument)

During this action, the choir sang the following songs:

At the end of the action, red roses were placed on the monument.
Approximately thirty activists participated in this action.
The action took place without any incidents, alongside police security, but no media was present.

1Monument for Hanged Antifascists – Five patriots were hanged by the Gestapo on August 17th 1941. The monument was raised in 1983.
